About Jenn

A trusted independent advisor since 2006…

While I was in the financial services industry since 2000, it wasn’t until 2006 that I decided to take the leap necessary to become a trusted advisor, and start helping people achieve their financial dreams.

My job is simple: help my clients better understand their money, the finances of the world, how it affects their lives specifically, AND their plans for the future.

Since 2006, I’ve been able to put together a simple and effective process of goal-based planning. It’s difficult to know how to get to your destination if you don’t know where that is, right?

To achieve a complete financial overview, I put my client’s unique interests centre stage to create a plan that not only charts a course to their goals, but addresses and protects against risks so they can achieve them.

Being self-employed, I find myself working with a lot of fellow entrepreneurs & small business owners to develop and implement plans to achieve whatever financial goal they have — no goal is too big or too small. Not an entrepreneur? Not to worry… I love helping anyone who is interested in taking control of their personal finances, and would invite you into my client family in an instant!

Sure, I’m all about helping you to gain peace of mind and understanding so that you’re confident and informed in making some of the biggest and most important decisions of your and your family’s lives.

My dedication to helping others extends even beyond my client family, and through volunteering with community organizations such as, most recently Gillian’s Place, and OUTniagara I’m able to help strengthen my community of Niagara.

Some of the technical stuff:   I am a licensed independent insurance agent, and am regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. As an independent agent, I’m able to advise my clients within my fiduciary duty only options that are in my client’s best interest. I’m compensated in two different ways: fee-for-service planning and consulting, or by commission from an insurance company that insurance and/or investments are placed with on behalf of my client. No company offers incentives over another, and I’m contracted with several of the top companies in Canada. Any fees associated with my recommendations are disclosed in writing as part of the Financial Protection Plan presented.
